Ruins of Yesterday's Tomorrow - for concert band

$70.00

This work represents the internal struggle between fear and excitement as we face the unknown. The music reflects cognitive dissonance— the tensionbetween wanting to move forward and the anxiety of leaving behind what’s familiar. At times, the work is filled with chaos and doubt, symbolizing the fear of change. But there are moments of hope and anticipation, where the will
to push forward begins to rise above the uncertainty. The piece ebbs and flows, embodying the wavering faith in the future, yet ultimately portraying the iron resolve to keep going, despite the fear. As the echoes of the past fade, what remains is the daunting task of rebuilding from nothing.
It is a search for possible selves, for a future yet unimagined. Despite the uncertainty, it is a reminder that even in ruin, the way ahead holds the promise of reinvention and endless possibilities.

Sometimes the tommorow we imagined, doesn't unfold the way we expect.
